Metal artist Cathi Borthwick, owner of Flag Forge, has been creating functional art for the home since 1982 at her shop in Flagstaff, AZ. She has a line of work that includes lamps, candleholders, furniture, fireplace equipment, towel bars and other bathroom fixtures, door and cabinet hardware, coat racks, and kitchen racks. In the last few years Cathi has also been having fun creating sculptural pieces for the home and garden.

It's been an odd few years dealing with wildfires, floods, and illness but Cathi has continued to create art when she can. You can see her at the Kings Mountain Arts Fair in Woodside, CA Sept 2-4. You can also see her outdoor artwork at the Botanical Blacksmiths exhibits at The Arboretum of Flagstaff through September 15 or visit one of the galleries carrying her work.
